Get high at Glacier Point – Yosemite

One of the more spectacular viewpoints in Yosemite National Park is at Glacier Point. Glacier Point is about an hour drive from Yosemite Village along some winding roads, and is over 7000 feet high. It provides awesome views of Half Dome, Vernal and Nevada Fall, and many other points of interest. You can definitely get some awesome photos of the landscape and feel like a professional photographer. For instance….

Pretty, isn't it?

A person can easily kill a couple hours just admiring the view though. So if you are heading to YNP then definitely do not pass this spot up! And since the real reason you are looking at this page is for the pictures – here’s a few more!
