We successfully closed with no more snags! Thank goodness!!!
So, first things first! We started removing the popcorn in the house. It was a serious process that took time. We Googled a few tips on how to get the popcorn off easy, turned on some tunes, and got to work! We worked on and off from Thursday to Sunday during the days. Now they are done! We could not be happier with the way they look. The ceilings will now be re-textured by our trusty contractor! Thanks Mike!
Saturday we had Tejas Tree Service come out to remove a tree in the front yard. This weak tree had to go, its matching Bradford Pear already snapped during a storm. They also removed trees and branches in the backyard, removed a ton of debris and raised the canopy. They also removed a huge cactus plant that was taller then Tyler. It was enormous!
Today, Tyler started racking up the leaves/debris left from the yard project and started to install the garage door opener. I was able to find a tile we love for an amazing price, $1.79 sq/ft! Tomorrow, we are having Mike start prep for our re-texture and we will continue a few little items until we can start painting the ceiling re-texture! Getting this house done one step at a time! It is a great feeling!
Amazing work and energy!!!
Thanks Mom!!! We’re pretty beat but somehow have the energy to keep going! Hope it keeps up 🙂
