WII Museum has great exhibits that were amazingly informative/educational.  It has unique modern displays with interactive features. There is so much information in one place you could stay for hours! The Beyond All Boundaries movie featuring Tom Hanks was great as well! We unfortunately did not make it to the Final Mission: The USS Tang Experience due to lack of time, but I am glad we had time for Beyond All Boundaries and we highly recommend it! It is only about an hour, but it is a terrific 4-D experience that touches on many aspects of the war. One thing of note about the museum – there are many graphic images in the movie and throughout the displays that certainly aren’t kid-friendly.

  1. I’ve been to NOLA several times and have never visited the WWII museum. Thank you for this – I will make time on my next visit to stop by – It sounds like something I wouldn’t want to miss.

    • Aunt Rebecca it was awesome! So much to see, do and play with! It was so interactive and educational. Plus, it has a personal level because there are video clips from solders who fought in the war. I actually cried a few times!
